A Bark Up the Right Tree is a family owned and operated tree service that has spent more than twenty years working across Adelaide. Our arborists are certified and every one of them holds a Certificate 4 in Horticulture (Arboriculture), and a good share of our work comes from clients who have had us out before and asked us back. We look after everyone from households to commercial sites, strata corporations, property managers, schools and government departments, and we clean up so thoroughly that the only sign we were there is the tree that is no longer standing.

Tree removal covers everything from a single small tree to a large one spreading across the whole yard, including the dangerous and overhanging trees and the sick or diseased ones that are past saving. Where a tree is boxed in with no clear way to fell it, we send a skilled climber up and use specialist access gear to bring it down section by section under control. We also handle fallen and storm-damaged trees once the weather has done its worst, and we cut back growth to reduce fire hazards, whether you are on a high fire-risk block or in an overgrown metropolitan garden.

For the trees staying in the ground, we take care of tree pruning, trimming and lopping, along with hedge and shrub trimming to keep a garden in shape. We can lift a canopy up off a roof, thin out crowded growth so more light gets through, or bring a hedge line back under control. Once a tree is down, stump removal and stump grinding takes out what is left, so there is nothing awkward to mow around or work into your next garden bed.

When a tree raises a question about its health or safety, we carry out tree assessments and arborist inspections, and we prepare the council applications that go with removing a protected tree. The tree waste from every job goes through our chipper, comes out as mulch and is carted away, and we sell mulch and firewood as well.
