Three generations of our family have made a living out of trees around Bundaberg, and between us that adds up to a history of more than 80 years. A1 Tree Service itself has been caring for trees for over 40 of them, working out of our yard at Kensington, and we still run the business the way it was set up: honest quotes, transparent pricing and the customer put first. Our team is headed by a Level 5 Consulting Arborist, we are a qualified member of the Queensland Arboricultural Association, our chainsaw operators are licensed and fully ticketed, and we carry $20 million in insurance cover.

When a tree has to come out, whether it is one gum leaning hard over a house or a stand of timber on a farm block, our licensed operators bring it down safely and clean up behind themselves before they leave. The stump grinding follows straight after, cutting the remains back below ground level so the spot can go back to lawn, garden bed or fresh footings with nothing left in it to trip over or mow around.

Rural blocks and larger properties are where we are most at home. Our land and property clearing gets a site ready for building, cropping or simple access, and we cut fire breaks ahead of the season so a fire has somewhere to stop before it reaches your house and your paddocks. We also hold a Fauna Spotter Catcher Rehabilitation Permit, so when there is wildlife living in the trees we are about to clear, we can do the job lawfully and move the animals out safely before any machinery starts up.

Because we already own the gear and the trucks, we can also sell you what goes back into the ground and hire you what moves it. Our landscape supplies cover soil, sand, mulch and gravel by the load, delivered locally, and our machinery hire puts excavators, bobcats, stump grinders and tipper trucks on your site for the jobs you would sooner tackle yourself. Councils, farmers, commercial operators and homeowners all come to us for the same short list of things, and we treat the small jobs with the same care as the big ones.

From Kensington we cover Bundaberg and the wider Wide Bay and Burnett country, taking in Childers, Gin Gin and Agnes Water. We are on the tools from half past six in the morning Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings through to midday.
