AA Taylor's Treelopping

From Cairns and Innisfail through to Mossman, Port Douglas and as far north as Cape York, we cover a serious stretch of country. AA Taylor's Treelopping was established in 1997 and works out of Atherton on the Atherton Tablelands, which puts most of Far North Queensland inside a day's reach. Our people hold a Diploma in Arboriculture and a Certificate III in Arboriculture, and we hold a Ground Distribution Contractor Licence, which lets our licensed operators carry out ground distribution of herbicides on site.

Jobs here run from a hazardous tree hanging over a house to specified land clearing and everything in between, and our complete tree and vegetation removal is built for that range. Where a tree is staying, our pruning covers the decorative and directional work, dead wooding, canopy reductions and lifting. Palms get their own attention, and our de-nutting and palm maintenance brings the seed heads and loose fronds down while we are already up there.

Formal advice is part of what we do. Our arborist reporting and consultancy assesses tree health, structure and risk and puts it in writing for councils, insurers, developers and property owners who need a decision they can stand behind. On larger and rural sites our weed control and herbicide spraying keeps regrowth in check under that same licence, and our utilities maintenance crews manage vegetation around infrastructure where the clearances have to be right the first time.

We clean up after ourselves properly. Wood chipping and mulching turns what comes down into a product worth having, and our stump grinding takes the remains out below ground level so the ground is usable again. Safety is not left to chance either. We hold toolbox meetings daily to go back over our procedures before anyone picks up a saw, and we send our people to conferences and field days through the year so the gear and the methods we use do not stand still.

The office is open seven days a week from 8am to 4pm, and we run a 365 day, 24 hour service for the emergency work that cannot wait, whether that is a storm damaged tree, an unstable one or a limb over something valuable.
