AB Trees

Since 2009 we have been working trees around Perth as a family business, father and son, run out of Spearwood. Ben heads the crews with a full arborist certification from Challenger TAFE Murdoch and better than a decade on the tools behind him, and Andrew is the other half of AB Trees. Everyone who works with us is either qualified or at TAFE getting there, with chipper and chainsaw tickets on top of it, and every job is run to the Australian Code of Practice.

Tree removal is where the crane and the cherry picker come in. We take out large trees, pines, gums, lilly pillys, yuccas, Japanese pepper trees and palms, and when there is nowhere on the block to drop or lower the sections, the crane lifts them out over the roof instead. Our EWP and cherry picker gets us up into the ones that are not safe to climb, and the whole job is worked to a no mess, no damage policy, so what you are left with is a clean block.

Not every tree needs to come out. Tree pruning is how a good one stays where it is: crown lifting for clearance underneath, crown reduction to pull a canopy back in off a roof or a fence, and crown thinning to let light and wind through it. We prune palms, pines and figs, and take on tree shaping and hedging where a screen needs holding to a line. Stump grinding, block clearance and powerline clearance fill out the rest of it, and we sell mulch from what comes off the jobs.

We work Perth wide, north and south of the river. Close to home that takes in Spearwood, Bibra Lake, Southlake, Northlake, Success, Atwell, Aubin Grove, Hammond Park, Banjup, Jandakot, Leeming, Willetton, Murdoch and Bateman. We head further out to Wandi, Oakford and Byford, and back in towards the coast for Melville, Bicton and Fremantle.

We are fully licenced and insured, with liability cover and workers compensation, so if a property manager or a strata wants the paperwork before we start, it is there.
