Family owned and operated since 2006, and Luke still runs the crew. That is the short version of Above All Arbor, and behind it sits better than fifteen years of work in one district and the local knowledge that only comes from staying in the same country that long. We are fully insured, the staff are trained and experienced, and we run some of the best machinery in the industry, which is what gets a job finished on time and inside the WHS regulations.

We service every area of the Southern Highlands and the Wollondilly, and the regions on the regular run are Mittagong, Bowral, Moss Vale, Bundanoon, Bargo, Thirlmere and Tahmoor. Thousands of happy customers have come out of that patch, along with thousands of trees safely cut and hundreds saved.

That second number matters as much to us as the first. A dead tree that has been assessed properly and pruned correctly will stand safely for years, and it makes genuine habitat for native fauna, so a habitat tree is often a better solution than a removal. We do habitat pruning for exactly that reason, and we will say so on site when we think that is the answer, even though it is the smaller invoice. Hundreds of trees around the Highlands are still standing because somebody had that conversation before the saw came out.

Large tree removal in confined spaces is what we specialise in, and there is no tree too big and no job too difficult. A tree standing too close to the house, one that has started causing damage, or one blocking enough sunlight to leave you with moisture and shade problems underneath it: those are the ones that come out. Stump grinding and stump removal finish the job off afterwards and leave you ground you can use.

Tree pruning and the dead wooding of mature trees is worked to industry standards, which protects a tree against pathogens and disease and keeps it healthy for years to come, and it cuts the risk of an accidental failure landing on somebody. Our land clearing goes bigger again: a new subdivision, a knock down rebuild, a fence line, or an overgrown garden that needs bringing back. We have watched this district grow and we know how the local government policies and procedures work for removing vegetation on a property, which saves you finding out the hard way. Nothing off a job is wasted either, because we sell mulch and firewood.

After a serious weather event there are usually fallen trees and debris everywhere, and our team makes short work of that kind of clean up. If the emergency is life threatening, ring the SES first.
