Justin Shulver started the business in 2013 with better than twenty years already behind him in the arborist industry. We only hire qualified staff, every job is planned before a saw comes out of the truck, and safety on your property is the first thing considered rather than the last. Government, private and commercial sectors all come through the same office.

The base is the Northern Beaches, and from there we cover the Northern Suburbs, the North Shore, Sydney CBD, the Inner West, the Eastern Suburbs, the Hills District, Hawkesbury, St George, Canterbury Bankstown, the Sutherland Shire, Greater Western Sydney, South Western Sydney and Macarthur, out to Wollongong and the Central Coast as well.

Keeping a tree beats taking one out, and removal is a last resort here because we run the business with an environmentally friendly culture that supports preserving trees. Regular pruning is the most effective method of keeping a tree healthy, and done at the right time it holds a canopy off the roof, clear of the powerlines and sound through its structure, so that is usually the first conversation we have with you. Where a tree does have to go, we take it down in sections, which is what allows us to work in back yards, over pools and between fences with no room to fell anything whole. Stump grinding follows so you are not left with something to mow around, and we write hazardous tree reports where a decision has to be justified to somebody else.

A nine tonne tipper truck and an eighteen inch wood chipper mean the debris leaves with us on the day. What goes through the chipper can come back to you as mulching for the garden beds, where organic mulch gives a garden a clean, well groomed look while making the planting healthier, more drought resistant and less prone to weeds. Land clearance is the larger end of it: a block being opened up ahead of a residential or commercial development, or hazard reduction and firebreak work for areas prone to it, and we keep specialist equipment ready for that.

The office is open Monday to Friday from nine to five, and an after hours emergency line runs 24/7 for storm damage and for anything that has come down across a driveway or onto a roof overnight. We carry full Public Liability and Workers Insurance, and if you want to see the certificates before we start, ask and we will put them in front of you.
