About This Business
What's underneath a tree decides how it comes out. Where the ground is tight we climb it and dismantle it on ropes, piece by piece. Where an EWP can get close enough, the cherry picker does the reaching. And where there's room to lay the whole thing down in one go, directional falling is the quickest way to finish it. Working out which of those applies is the first thing Adams Tree Services does on site, before a price is quoted or a saw comes off the truck.
Adam is the owner operator and a fully licensed arborist, and he's won arboriculture awards at state and interstate level. Local ABC Radio has had him on to talk about chainsaw safety and work practices. We're fully insured, and the safety of everyone and everything on the site is settled before the work begins.
We prune all species of tree, and we go through the options with you fully before anything gets cut. That takes in canopy reduction on deciduous trees, fence line pruning where a tree has grown across a boundary, dropping out large leaders on branches, fruit trees that have got away from you, hedges, and clearing growth back off power and service wires.
As qualified arborists we also carry out on-site inspections and write the report that comes out of one. Those get used for development applications, heritage listings, removal applications, risk assessments, liability questions, scenic protection and preservation matters, site consultations, or simply a general overview of what you've got in the yard. Where a tree is worth keeping, tree bracing holds a weak union together, pest management deals with whatever is attacking it, and risk reduction pruning takes the danger out without taking the tree. Stump grinding clears up after a removal, and land clearing handles a block that needs starting again from scratch.
We look after residents in and around Launceston, on suburban blocks and rural properties alike. Ordinary hours are 7:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 2:30pm on Saturday, and emergency work is anytime, so if a limb comes through the roof on a Sunday night, ring anyway. Call or email to arrange an inspection of your trees and ask for your free quote, and you'll get the options laid out along with the price.
