Adam is the owner operator here, a fully licensed arborist, and the person who comes out to look at your tree is the same person who ends up in it. Tree pruning covers every species we come across, and we go through the options with you properly before anything gets cut. That takes in canopy reduction on deciduous trees, fence line pruning where a tree has grown across a boundary, dropping out large branch leaders, fruit trees that have got away from you, hedges, and clearing growth back off power and service wires.

Sometimes a tree has to go, whether it is dangerous, dying or dead, structurally unsound, the wrong species for where it was planted, or just too big for the spot it has ended up in. How we take it out depends on what is underneath: climbing and dismantling it on ropes where the ground is tight, an elevated work platform where we can get one close enough, and directional falling where there is room to lay the whole thing down in one go. Stump grinding tidies up what is left, and land clearing is there for a block that needs starting again from scratch.

As qualified arborists we also write tree reports off an on site inspection, covering a tree's health, its structure and the risk it actually poses. Those get used for development and planning applications, heritage listings, council removal applications, formal risk assessments, and for advice before you commit to buying a property with a big tree on it. Where a tree is worth keeping, tree bracing holds a weak union together, pest management deals with whatever is attacking it, and risk reduction pruning takes the danger out of it without taking the tree itself.

We look after residents in and around Launceston, on suburban blocks and rural properties alike, and we are fully insured with the safety of everything and everyone on the site accounted for before a saw starts. Ordinary hours are half past seven to five Monday to Friday and half past eight to half past two on Saturday, but emergency work is anytime, so if a limb comes through the roof on a Sunday night ring us anyway.
