Everything we take down goes somewhere useful. One hundred per cent of the trees Advance Tree Works prunes or removes ends up as mulch or timber products, and some of it comes back to you as Natures Gift, the wooden homewares, art and preserves we handcraft from the timber off our own jobs. Owen has been running this business out of Dundowran for more than 30 years, and that is the standard we hold ourselves to on residential and commercial work alike.

Nobody wants to lose a tree, but infestation, a safety hazard or simply the wrong tree in the wrong place will force the issue, and we remove trees of any size whatever corner of the property they are sitting in. Our staff are trained on the latest stump grinding gear, and where you are building or replanting over the spot we will take the root system out with it. On tree trimming we handle the deadwooding, the branch removals and the weight reduction, and we have been at it long enough to know what a tree will do once that weight comes off.

Land clearing is a proper part of what we do, not a sideline. We have the machinery and the qualified people to strip a block right back: trees, understory, bushes, shrubs, weeds, vines, roots and stumps. Come summer, our fire break management keeps vegetation under control and creates the safe zones that slow a bushfire down, and we make sure emergency services can still get access when it counts. Tree disease and pest management is the other half of that story, because insects and disease left alone will turn a valuable tree into a liability.

We also hire out certified, electrically tested cherry pickers with an operator on board, for tree lopping and shifting work, on jobs short or long. When the weather turns, our emergency crew runs a 24 hour call out service for windblown, fallen and storm damaged trees, cut up and cleared quickly whatever their size.
