Three separate qualifications sit behind the advice you get from us: a Diploma in Arboriculture RTF 50203, a Certificate of Horticultural Management and a Diploma in Forestry and Forestry Products. Advanced Vegetation Management has spent almost a decade putting that training to work out of Stratford, we are members of the Queensland Arboriculture Association, we hold public liability insurance and we work to Australian Standards. Plenty of operators around Cairns hold none of that, and the difference shows up in the tree six months later. No job is too simple or too challenging for us.

We own and operate our own gear, including elevated work platforms, stump grinders, wood chippers and heavy vehicles, and we have standing arrangements with crane operators for the trees that cannot be reached any other way. That is why our tree removal and tree surgery work covers the awkward ones as readily as the straightforward ones. For trees staying where they are, our tree pruning and tree lopping restores clearance from buildings and wires and keeps the canopy sound through a Far North wet season.

The tropics ask for work that arborists further south rarely see. Our coconut de-nutting brings the nuts down under control before they come down on their own over a footpath or a car park, and our palm tree removal and palm tree maintenance keeps the rest of them safe and presentable. After a removal, stump grinding and stump removal clear the ground out completely, larger jobs get our block and land clearing, and what comes off site goes back out through our mulch supply.

Our consultancy work is where the paperwork gets done properly. Our qualified arborists prepare arborist reports, tree risk assessments, preliminary tree assessments, development impact reports assessed to Australian Standard AS 4970-2009, and tree protection plans that set out how a retained tree stays healthy through construction. We will also come out for a site consultation before a design is locked in, which is the point at which a tree problem is still cheap to solve.

Our emergency services and storm work runs on an after hours mobile for storm damaged trees and debris that will not keep until Monday.
