Twenty two palm trees came out of one rear yard for us, several of them growing up through a gap in a pergola roof. A huge lemon scented gum with more limbs than the owner could count came down the same way, dismantled section by section. Before any of it, there is a question worth settling: is your tree regulated? A trunk circumference of two metres or more classes a tree as regulated, and more than three metres makes it significant, and either way council approval has to be gained before removal can go ahead.
