All Purpose Tree Services began by sourcing sustainable South Australian firewood, processing and seasoning it at our yard in Rosewater and selling it to households around Adelaide. The yard is still there and we still sell seasoned mixed gum firewood and mulch out of it, alongside everything else we have picked up since.

Trees come down for all sorts of reasons: roots getting into pipework or foundations, a tree pulling too much moisture out of the ground, or one that has gone unhealthy or diseased. When it gets to that point we handle the tree removal for you, taking it out cleanly and without damage to what is around it. Tree pruning and regular tree maintenance are the other side of it, and often enough a prune is all a tree needs to stay out of trouble.

We own our gear rather than hiring it in, which keeps things moving on a job. Between the Vermeer SC30TX stump cutter, the Vermeer BC700XL and Bandit 254 chippers, the Aussie Chopper log splitter, a Vermeer CTX100 skid steer, an excavator, tippers and a mulch bin truck, most jobs are covered by what is already on the truck, and anything we do not own we can bring in.

Joel Engels and the crew handle stump grinding for commercial and domestic properties, along with tree climbing, storm damage clean-ups, fence line clearing and land clearing. If a storm has dropped a limb across your yard or left one hanging where you would rather it was not, that is a job for us. We can also write arborist reports, which is what you will need where a regulated or significant tree is involved. On the machinery side there is tight access earth moving and mini bobcat work, so dirt removal, concrete removal and yard clean-ups get done by us too. We follow all OHS and safety policy on site, and everyone on the crew is trained for the work they are doing.

Our base is Rosewater, in the Port Adelaide Enfield council area, and we cover North Adelaide, West Adelaide, East Adelaide and the wider metro area, and we are happy to travel for the right work. We also run a 24/7 cat and animal rescue service, climbing trees all over Adelaide to get pets back down.
