All of our tree care is carried out to AS4373, the Australian Standard, and that is the plainest measure of what you get from Arbator Tree Services. Hayden Banks founded the business and still runs it as director, a master arborist and horticulturalist, and around him sits a team of qualified and climbing arborists, a trainee, a safety officer and licenced ground staff. Sometimes a tree just needs to go, whether from structural weakness, property damage, or because it is dying or already dead, and we handle hazardous tree removal with minimum fuss and disruption to your property. Where the tree can stay, we put precision tree pruning into it, which is a good investment in the health and longevity of what you have: formative pruning, crown thinning, crown lifting, crown reduction and restoration pruning, all aimed at eliminating hazardous branches so the tree is more likely to withstand adverse weather. What we aim at is to be as environmentally friendly as possible and to use our natural resources responsibly, by recycling trees into milled timber, firewood and garden mulch. A good log gets saved from the firewood pile and put through the mill for raised vegetable gardens, furniture, buildings or a special project, and we will mill your own logs for you too. Branches and foliage go through the chipper for mulch, which keeps them out of landfill and puts them back on a garden. We do not use carcinogenic petroleum based guide bar oils on your property either, only eco friendly Stihl BioPlus, and we take on tree planting, replant consultation and animal and bird habitat creation so that something goes back in as well.
