Danny Lambert started in this trade as a sixteen year old apprentice in the southwest of England, and went on to become a well recognised contract tree climber working alongside large scale tree removal projects, domestic and commercial alike. He came out to Australia and set up Arbay Tree Services in 2010, working from Seaford, with more than twenty years in the trade to draw on. It is still Danny and a select few dedicated staff and family, so what turns up at your place is certified arborists who are trained in the current techniques and gear, and the same faces if you need us again.

When a tree has to come out, dead, dangerous or a healthy one that has simply outgrown a suburban yard, we take it down in sections around the house, the shed and the fences, which is what tree removal looks like on a block where dropping it whole was never on the table. The trees staying put get tree pruning: roofs, wires and boundaries cleared, and the tree left better for it. Seaford, Frankston, Carrum Downs, Langwarrin, Chelsea and Mount Eliza are the regulars, and from there we head out through the wider Mornington Peninsula and up into bayside Melbourne.

An older tree with a weak or splitting union does not automatically have to go. With cabling and bracing we tie those limbs back together so the tree can carry its own weight through a windy week, which on a mature tree in an established garden is the difference between keeping it and starting again with something knee high. Where a tree has already gone, stump removal clears the remainder out of the ground so you get the space back rather than mowing around it for the next ten years.
