Arbor Culture Tree Services is a small, professional tree management business based in Salt Ash, New South Wales, working across Port Stephens and the surrounding regions. Tree pruning and tree removal are the core of it, covering everything from cutting a tree back to taking one down completely, with the crew tidying up any issue with your trees and foliage afterwards. Stump grinding takes the stump down 300mm, roughly a foot, below ground level, removing it from sight so you can garden and mow without working around it. When grinding is not enough, for instance if you are laying a slab of concrete, building a shed or putting a house up over the spot, Arbor Culture can excavate the stump entirely, digging it out so it will not grow back and leaving ground you can build over.

Aerial inspections are a speciality. Very large trees make it hard to see what is really happening at the top, and rather than renting a helicopter, Arbor Culture brings the technology, machines and skills to give you a bird's eye view of a tree's health from above. Trained tree surgeons can also climb to assess limbs that cannot be seen from underneath the canopy. The team recommends an inspection at least once every couple of years, and immediately after severe winds or storms, to reduce the risk of property damage, determine diseased limbs and identify hazards early. Timber milling puts good wood back to use: a portable Lucas Mill with a slabbing attachment travels to site and turns your logs into benchtops, coffee tables, shelving, outdoor entertainment areas and retaining walls. Firewood is split on site with transportable equipment and stockpiled ready for winter, available all year round for both combustion and open fireplaces, with pick up or delivery, and supply to wood-fired pizza outlets, pubs and resorts.
