You are not going to rent a helicopter to find out what is happening at the top of your trees, and that is exactly where we come in. Arbor Culture Tree Services is a small tree management business based at Salt Ash, with more than 15 years of experience in all aspects of tree maintenance and tree surgery. We are certified arborists, more than simply loppers, fully qualified and insured with coverage up to twenty million dollars, which counts for a great deal in what is often a very difficult and dangerous work environment.

Our aerial inspections bring the technology, the machines and the skills to give you a bird's eye view of your trees' health from above, and our trained tree surgeons will climb them as well, because some issues cannot be seen from underneath the canopy. An inspection reduces the risk of property damage, assesses and determines diseased limbs and overall tree health, and identifies hazards while there is still time to minimise them. We recommend one at least once every couple of years, and immediately after severe winds, storms or cyclones.

From site clearing to a large overgrown tree, we will tackle the project quickly and efficiently, taking care of hazardous tree removal, pruning, palm cleaning and the tidy up afterwards. Our stump grinding takes a stump down 300mm, about a foot below ground level, so it is gone from sight and you can garden and mow without working around it. Where something is going on top of that spot, a slab of concrete, a shed or a house, grinding it down is not enough, so we excavate the stump, digging it out completely so it will not grow again and you can build over it.

The whole job is handled in house, with no other contractors to hire and no lengthy delays, and we care about where the material ends up: everything is recycled wherever possible to minimise landfill. Our portable Lucas Mill goes to any site with a slabbing attachment on it and turns your logs into benchtops, coffee tables, shelving, outdoor entertainment areas and retaining walls. Our firewood is split on your premises with transportable equipment and stockpiled ready for winter, clean and eco friendly with no hazardous effects when it burns, available all year round for combustion heaters and open fireplaces, pick up or delivery, and we supply wood fired pizza outlets, pubs and resorts too.

Accidents happen, trees fall, branches get too close to power lines and storms wreak havoc on trees and gardens, so we run a 24 hour emergency call out service, Monday to Sunday.
