Not every tree standing in the way has to come out. We do tree transplants, along with root pruning and root barrier installation where roots are lifting a path or heading for a pipe, so keeping the tree is on the table before anybody reaches for a saw. Arbor King Tree Services is a small family run business, operating since 2008 out of Falcon, south of Mandurah.

James got into this trade at nineteen and has been in it for over 14 years. Study and training took him through to fully certified arborist, and the work took him to London and the Northern Territory before he brought it back here. There is always a certified arborist on site when we are working, which is how the job stays in accordance with Australian standards from the first cut to the clean up.

When a tree does have to go, tree removals and stump removal and grinding finish it off properly, and block clearing deals with a whole site at once. Selective safety pruning is how we approach an established tree: take out what is dead or dangerous, leave it with a shape it can live with, and do not strip it back so hard that it throws out weak regrowth. There is palm pruning or removal, hedge trimming and log removal for the rest of it.

If it is paperwork you are after, we write arboricultural reports and inspections. Power line clearances keep branches off the wires where the shire or the network needs them cut back. When a front comes through and drops a limb across the drive at two in the morning, our 24 hour storm damage cleanups mean there is somebody to ring. Nothing we chip goes to waste either, with mulch sales and delivery and wood chips dropped off if you want a load for the garden.

Our customers run from Hillarys in the north all the way down to Waroona, taking in Rockingham and out to Dwellingup. We are on the road through Perth and the Mandurah area every week, so a quote is never far away, and the large tipping trailer means the mess leaves when we do.
