In 2026 we were named a finalist in the Gardener category at the Australian Trades Small Business Champion Awards, which is a fair reflection of the ten years Arborista Trees has spent looking after trees around Canberra. We are locally owned, fully licensed, and every job we do is covered by public liability and workers compensation insurance. We live and work in this region, so we know the local council rules, the eucalypts and pines that dominate the plantings here, and the way the seasons treat them.

We take trees down at any size, whether the tree is dead, storm damaged or simply in the wrong spot, and we leave your property clean when we go. Where a block needs opening up altogether, our land clearing crew takes out the trees, the scrub and the stumps, and that is work we do for people preparing to build, running in a new fence line or cutting back the fuel load before a bushfire season.

Once a tree is out, we grind the stump below ground level so you can replant, build or simply have a flat yard with nothing left to trip over. For the trees that are staying, we handle tree trimming and pruning on a regular round so they stay healthy, hold a better shape and keep their branches well away from your roofline and the power lines. Hedge trimming and garden maintenance is on the same list, either as a standing arrangement or a one-off tidy up when the place has got away from you.
