What comes off your tree does not have to leave on a trailer. We chip and mulch on site, so the material goes back onto the garden instead of down to the tip, and that is how Arbortree Tree Services prefers to work. Tree removal runs from the delicate small jobs right through to large scale felling. A small ornamental in a front yard and a mature tree that has to come out in sections are two different problems, but the approach to them is the same: look properly at what is actually there, get the right equipment to it, and bring it down without collecting anything else on the way. The site is left clean and tidy when we finish, and the area around it is left much as we found it.

After a removal, stump grinding finishes the job off. The stump is ground out and the hole is backfilled afterwards, so what you are left with is level ground and not a crater where the trunk used to be. That deals with the eyesore and the trip hazard at the same time. Pruning is the broadest part of what we do, taking in crown reduction, crown lifting, limb removal, hazard removal, dead wooding, storm damaged limb removal and general pruning, which between them cover most of what an established tree will throw at you short of having to come out altogether. A limb that has cracked in a blow but has not fallen yet is the one to ring about early.

The mulching and wood chipping both happen on the spot, turning what has just come off your tree into something the garden can genuinely use. We also run mulch sales, so you can have a load delivered without needing a tree cut down first.
