When a tree has died, turned unsafe or simply has to go, we take it out cleanly and protect what sits around it on the way down. We grind stumps of all sizes out at 300 to 400mm deep, no chemicals and nothing left sitting in the middle of your lawn, and tight access and sub fence stumps are both fine by us. Running bamboo gets our three step eradication programme, which digs out the entire rhizome network rather than cutting the canes, and where a clump straddles a boundary we treat both sides in the one programme. Yuccas come out taproot and all, before the roots start cracking your paving, and we handle the spiked canopy safely and take every bit of green waste off the site.

Hedges we trim at any size, from decorative borders through to long boundary screens, and the aim is to tame the hedge without stunting it so it comes back sharper, thicker and ready to flush again. A neglected one we bring back to a maintainable form. On the garden side we test soil pH and nutrients before anything goes in the ground, handle the weeding, the pruning and the planting advice, and set up monthly, quarterly or seasonal maintenance plans so the work holds. Green waste gets chipped on site with industrial chippers into mulch you can spread on the same property, or we haul it away, whichever suits you.
