A licensed NSW builder who is also an AQF Level 5 consulting arborist is a combination almost nobody else in this market offers, and it is the one behind every report Assurance Trees puts its name to. The first ten years were spent as an AQF Level 3 tree removal contractor, climbing, running elevated work platforms and taking on the high risk jobs. Then came the builder's licence and the construction sites, and now more than fifteen years consulting on NSW developments. We have stood on every side of the fence your project will face.

Most projects come to us for the documents a council or certifier will accept. We prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Preliminary Arboricultural Reports, tree protection plans and pruning specifications to AS 4970-2025, and we write them so your builder can work to them, with specific and costable instructions instead of vague clauses that get knocked back. Where consent conditions call for supervision, we stay on as project arborist and manage the tree works right through the build.

When the question is whether a tree is sound, we measure it. An IML Resistograph shows us what the decay inside a stem is actually doing, an Air Spade and mobile compressor open up the root plate without tearing it apart, and a Trimble R2 GNSS unit maps a treed site to survey grade so our GIS output drops straight onto the architect's drawings. We are TRAQ qualified for tree risk assessments, and we also handle stability assessments, aerial inspections, tree valuation and expert witness work.

Where a tree can be kept, there is usually something practical that will keep it. Cabling and support holds a suspect union together, stem injection treats what is going on inside, root decompaction and vertical mulching gets air and water back into a compacted root zone, and habitat creation and nest boxes replace the hollows a site is about to lose. We are independent and conflict free, we carry $20 million public liability and products cover alongside $5 million indemnity, and we have been engaged by NSW Government, ASX listed contractors, major builders, councils, utilities, mining companies and architectural firms.

We work out of Oakhampton Heights and cover the Hunter through Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Cessnock, Singleton, Muswellbrook, the Upper Hunter and Dungog. We come down to the Central Coast at Gosford and Wyong, north through Taree, Forster, Port Macquarie, Kempsey and Coffs Harbour, and into Sydney on larger projects.
