Both of our Certificates of Currency sit on our website where anyone can read them before we set foot on the property: 20 million dollars of public liability, and workers compensation covering every employee. All our vehicles, equipment and machinery are comprehensively insured as well. Councils and hospitals ask for that paperwork as a matter of course, and it is there for a homeowner to read just as easily.

Steve Merks owns Assured Tree Services and he is the one who comes out to price your job. We have been a family business managing trees around Perth for more than 15 years, and our arborists and tree surgeons hold senior first aid, OH and S, chainsaw, elevated work platform, climbing and arboriculture qualifications between them. We are members of the Tree Guild of WA. On the books are local councils, government agencies, schools, hospitals and the WA Department of Communities, along with Tim Davies Landscapers, Brightwater Care Group and more than 30 real estate companies across the metro area.

Power line clearance is a discipline of its own and we are certified for both High and Low Voltage lines and house lines to Western Power specifications. That work is done on insulated elevated work platforms with insulated tools, because a branch resting on a service wire can put a fire risk and a power outage across the whole street. That is where tree pruning earns its keep, taking out the dead, overhanging and untidy limbs so there is clearance over the roof, the path and the driveway and less chance of a branch failing in the first place. We lop back the ones that have got away from you, take out trees in decline or simply no longer wanted, and finish the ground with stump grinding and stump removal, with extra care around the garden beds. Debris is chipped on site and the mulch is yours to keep or ours to take away, and we work right across the Perth metropolitan area.

Business and government sites get their tree work planned ahead. We build tree maintenance programs on a quarterly or annual basis, price them per item or on a daily or hourly rate where the contract calls for it, and cover complete tree and landscape assessment, verge and streetscape maintenance, management of parklands, reserves and grounds, and land clearance for car parking and future landscaping. We work around your trading hours so it stays business as usual while we are on site. The chemical free wood chip mulch we sell comes off our own jobs.
