Councils, government agencies, schools, hospitals and the WA Department of Communities are all on our books, alongside plenty of ordinary Perth back yards. Assured Tree Services is a locally owned family business that has been managing trees in Perth for more than 15 years, and Steve Merks, who owns it, is the one who comes out and quotes the job.

Our arborists hold Senior First Aid, OH&S, chainsaw, elevated work platform, climbing and arboriculture certifications, and we are certified to clear both High and Low Voltage powerlines and houselines. We are members of the Tree Guild of WA. Public liability runs to 20 million dollars, every employee is covered by workers compensation, all vehicles and machinery are comprehensively insured, and we will hand over Certificates of Currency if you want to see them before we start.

On the domestic side, tree pruning keeps a canopy in shape and off the roof, tree lopping pulls back what has got away from you, and tree removal takes out the ones that have to go. Stump grinding and stump removal clear out what is left in the ground so the space is usable again. We run a cherry picker and a large range of specialist gear, all of it inspected, serviced and maintained to the manufacturers' specifications, which is what lets us take on the difficult ones. A tree hard up against a house, or one with a line running through the middle of it, gets rigged and taken out in pieces so nothing lands where it should not.

For councils, government agencies, schools and hospitals we handle power line clearance on High and Low Voltage, verge and streetscape maintenance, and pruning, shaping and removals across whole sites. Our arborist services cover the assessment end of it, where a tree needs a qualified opinion put in writing. We also sell mulch from the material that comes off our own jobs. Commercial sites, strata blocks and schools get the same crew and the same paperwork as a domestic job, and we work in around whatever else is happening on site.

The emergency call out line runs 24 hours, seven days, so a tree down across a driveway at midnight is a call we will take. Otherwise we are on the tools 7am to 7pm on weekdays, 7am to 5pm on Saturdays and 9am to 5pm on Sundays, right across the Perth metropolitan area.
