Tub grinding, slashing and fire breaks are not on most tree companies' lists, and they are on ours because acreage has different problems to a suburban backyard. Australian Tree Services has been working across Brisbane and South East Queensland since 1990, we are ISO 9001 certified and fully insured for the tree industry, and we are set up to handle both ends of the scale: the single fig over a Queenslander and the hundred acre block that needs a fire break cut before summer.

The everyday work runs from tree removal and tree trimming through tree shaping, skilled tree surgery and ongoing tree pruning and maintenance that keeps established trees healthy, safe and standing where you want them. A tree that is valued but in the wrong place does not always have to be lost, because tree transplanting lets it be moved instead, and power line clearing takes growth off overhead services where it has become a genuine risk.

Once the cutting is done, stump grinding and rootball removal clear the ground for replanting, paving or building, and the material we produce is recycled on site through wood chipping and large-scale tub grinding rather than trucked to landfill. When severe weather goes through, our emergency storm damage response is available around the clock for fallen trees, broken limbs and trees leaning on a house or a power line, with a twenty four hour callout for the ones that cannot wait until seven the next morning.

For the bigger projects we take on full land clearing and block clearing for housing and commercial development, fence lines and roads, with fire breaks and slashing to manage overgrowth and cut bushfire risk on rural blocks. Weed spraying and control keeps a cleared block from going straight back to lantana, and palm cleaning tidies and de-thatches the palms that come with almost every Queensland property.

Nothing we cut down is treated as waste. We sell and deliver the products of our own work through wood chip and mulch sales and seasoned firewood, so what comes off your block ends up in someone's garden or someone's fireplace.
