Habitat pruning is how a dead or declining tree stays standing. We cut hollows, install nesting boxes and use coronet pruning to make the stem safe to have on the property while it goes on housing the birds and animals already living in it. On a rural block that is often a better outcome than a stump and a gap.

Utility and asset pruning covers the vegetation around power lines, so if a clearance notice has landed in your letterbox or a neighbour has raised the limbs going over the fence, we will bring it back into line. Fire mitigation gets a property into shape before summer and keeps it compliant. After a storm we run emergency and storm damage response: out to assess what the wind has left, take down whatever is dangerous and make the place safe to walk around again. A limb across the driveway or a tree leaning on a shed is worth ringing about straight away.

Nothing we fell has to leave as waste. Structural milling and slabbing turns your logs and removed trees into usable timber, and log removal handles the felled, fallen and hazardous ones you want gone, with the timber recycled or repurposed wherever there is something worth saving. If a big hardwood is coming off your block and you would rather have it back as slabs, say so before we start cutting, because how a trunk gets sectioned on the day decides what can be milled out of it later.
