Before you even ring there is a removal calculator on our site that will get you a figure to work with. It asks the height in metres and the trunk diameter in centimetres, whether it is a gum, a pine, a palm, a deciduous or a fruit and nut tree, how close it stands to the power lines, whether it is in the front, the back or down the side, whether the stump goes too, and whether a council permit is already in hand. What no calculator can see is the access, and access is what moves a price more than anything else: a tree with a clear drop and a gate wide enough for the chipper is a completely different day from the same tree jammed against a boundary with every piece rigged down over a roof. So the calculator gives you the estimate, then one of us rings back, usually inside two hours, with a detailed price and nothing buried in it.

Tree removal, cutting and lopping runs from a single backyard gum through to clearing a whole site. Once it is down, stump removal and grinding takes out what is left under the surface so the lawn comes back level, while tree trimming and pruning covers deadwooding, thinning and clearance from roofs and lines. Palm tree removal is listed on its own because a palm wants a different approach to a eucalypt, and hedging and trimming keeps formal hedges and screening in shape. Trunks, branches and vegetation get recycled where we can, turned into mulch so it stays out of landfill, and we hold to a zero mess policy so the site is left the way we found it.
