Batt Brothers Vegetation Management is a family run business built by brothers Kyle and Joel Batt, whose wider team brings more than 50 years of combined experience in vegetation management. It has grown from tree work into a full vegetation management operation, working for homeowners, businesses, councils, utility suppliers and contractors across a large stretch of Victoria. The crews are fully trained and certified arborists, and the business is fully insured and certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS/NZS 4801 for quality, environmental and safety management.

The tree side of the work covers tree removal, tree pruning and stump grinding, carried out by dedicated in house crews rather than subbied out. Removals range from a single problem tree in a backyard through to larger clearing jobs, pruning keeps established trees healthy and safe, and stump grinding clears what a removal leaves behind so the ground can be replanted or built on. The gear runs from chainsaws and grinders through to the trucks and machinery a certified operation needs, which is what lets one crew move from a suburban job to a council contract.

Beyond individual trees, Batt Brothers takes on forestry mulching, running machinery through scrub and regrowth to clear and mulch vegetation in a single pass, which suits larger blocks, fire breaks and utility corridors. Weed management and weed spraying keep unwanted growth under control, and the team also handles lawn and garden care, from mowing through to general garden upkeep, so a property can be looked after start to finish by the one crew.

The company works across residential, commercial and contracting sectors, and that council and utility work shows in how it operates: formal safety and environmental systems, regular training and proper certification behind every job. The team is also well versed in emergency work, responding to storm and weather damage when trees and vegetation come down unexpectedly.
