In 1988 Bellarine Tree Services commenced operations, and we began quite humbly. Coming up on four decades later there is an extensive modern fleet behind the name, run by a workforce of experienced arborists, plant operators and labourers, and the growth has thrown off other ventures along the way, including Go Traffic, which now stands on its own. All of our arborists are qualified Level 2 to 5 tree practitioners, Level 5 being the highest industry level, which means the person working out how your tree comes down has the training to back the call.

That fleet decides which jobs we can say yes to. Working out of Geelong, we offer a Victoria wide service that takes in Melbourne and south west Victoria, and if the job is the right one we will travel interstate to quote it. Our crews have worked in Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania, South Australia and the ACT. On the ground that means tree removals and complete removals of the big and awkward ones, thinning and pruning to take weight and deadwood out of the trees that are staying, and stump grinding once the tree is gone. On site chipping, mulching and green waste removal finish the job, so what came off the tree leaves with us.

Because we have Level 5 practitioners on the books, we also write tree reports. We prepare arboricultural reports for council permits and town planning applications, including residential development approvals, along with tree health reports on trees you are trying to hold on to. We will give in depth advice on a tree problem, a health issue or any other arboricultural question online, without you having to book anything first. If your question is a technical one about a quotation or scheduled works, our administration team will put a manager or an arborist onto it, so the answer comes from someone qualified to give it.

Quotes are free on all tree work and there is no obligation attached, so you know the price before we start. We hold Public Liability of $20 million, Professional Indemnity and WorkCover, our ground crew are trained and our equipment is fully maintained, which is what a council or a commercial client wants confirmed before anyone sets foot on site. Residential jobs are settled once the work is finished, by credit card over the phone or by EFT against an invoice. The office runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.
