About This Business
Scott Bolton owns Bolton Tree Services and is its principal arborist, and he is the one who comes out to look at your tree. Scott holds nationally recognised qualifications in arboriculture and is IRATA trained, which is rope access and work at height, and it is what gets a climber into a tree no machine is ever going to reach. Customers deal with Scott and Monique from the first quote through to the last load out. Across the team there are more than twenty four years of experience in hazardous tree work, domestic and commercial, and every job is planned and risk assessed against Western Australian work health and safety requirements before a saw comes out of the truck.
When we climb, we do not use spikes, because they damage the tree we have been asked to keep. Some of the trees we take on sit in tight spots, close against a house or hemmed in behind a shed, and those get planned properly first so nothing else on the block gets hurt in the process. One job through the hills ran to seven very large trees over three days. Where climbing is impractical or unsafe we bring in the cherry picker and elevated work platforms instead, and our loader work shifts the heavy logs and stumps off the property afterwards.
The rest is what you would expect of a hills outfit. Tree removal and climbing services take in everything from one problem tree in a back garden through to large scale clearing, we bring the stump grinding machine back for whatever is left in the ground, and we also do palm cleaning and removal, pruning and hedging, and bird boxes and tree swings for a tree you are keeping. Our clients are residential, commercial and rural, through Glen Forrest, Mundaring, Sawyers Valley, Mount Helena, Stoneville, Parkerville, Darlington, Gidgegannup, Bakers Hill, Kalamunda, Toodyay, Lesmurdie, Wundowie, Clackline, Northam, Midland, Pickering Brook, Wooroloo, Upper Swan and Morangup. If your place is not on that list, ring us anyway.
What comes off your trees does not have to leave the property. We can mulch it where it stands and tip the pile wherever you want it, or load it straight into the truck and take it away. One customer who had her canopies thinned for light and for fire planning told us the mulch we left behind has brought thousands of earthworms into her soil. It holds water in, keeps the weeds down, evens out the soil temperature and slows erosion on a slope.
Our licences and competencies are current and verified, and we carry public liability, plant and vehicle, and workers compensation cover, with the paperwork available on request. The office runs Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm, and the call-out line is answered around the clock for storm damage, when a tree has come through a fence, a shed or a roof. Ring Scott, or send your suburb and a few words about the tree through the site, and we will come out and quote it for nothing.
