About This Business
IRATA rope access training is what gets us to the trees a truck cannot reach. Scott Bolton owns and runs Bolton Tree Services as its principal arborist, holding nationally recognised qualifications in arboriculture alongside that rope access ticket, and he has spent more than ten years working trees through the Perth Hills. Our crew hold Certificate III in Arboriculture or equivalent, with chainsaw and felling competencies, tree climbing and aerial rescue training and EWP tickets, plus high risk work licences for boom-type platforms where a job calls for one.
Complex, high-risk tree work is what we are set up for. Climbing services get us into the trees with no room for a machine: the one leaning over the house, the one hemmed in behind a shed. Where there is access, our cherry picker and elevated work platforms put the crew up safely and get the job done quicker. Tree removal runs from a single problem tree in a back garden through to large scale clearing, and our loader work shifts what comes down off the block.
The ongoing work counts for just as much. Pruning and hedging keeps a garden in shape, and where a tree can be kept we would rather preserve its health than take it out. We also handle palm cleaning and removal, getting the dead fronds and seed heads down before they come down on their own. Once a tree is gone, stump grinding brings the ground back to level, and the mulch that comes off our jobs is for sale.
Storm damage is the call that will not keep until Monday, so our 24/7 emergency call out covers it, whenever a tree comes down across a driveway, a fence or a roof. On the lighter side, we make and fit bird boxes and tree swings as well.
We look after residential, commercial and rural clients right through the hills and well past them, taking in Mundaring, Glen Forrest, Mahogany Creek, Darlington, Kalamunda, Lesmurdie, Parkerville, Stoneville, Mount Helena, Sawyers Valley, Swan View, Greenmount, Jane Brook, Helena Valley, Carmel, Bickley, Pickering Brook, Red Hill, Gidgegannup, Bailup, Chidlow, Wooroloo, Beechina, Wundowie, Clackline, Toodyay, Morangup and Bakers Hill. If your suburb is not on that list, ring us anyway, because we often still get out there.
Every job gets a site-specific risk assessment and a safe work plan before anyone picks up a saw, and we carry public liability, plant and vehicle, and workers compensation cover, with the details available on request. No job is too big or too small. Ring us for a free quote, or send your suburb and a short description of the tree through our site and we will come back to you.
