Our climbers go up on ropes and never on spikes, because a tree you are keeping should not be scarred by the job of pruning it. Bracky's Trees is locally owned and operated out of Garbutt, and what started as a one-man operation is now a full crew with better than 30 years of arborist experience behind it. Our arborists are qualified, we are fully insured with $20 million in public liability cover, and we run a heavy machinery fleet to match.

We take down the dangerous, the dead and the unwanted, from a small backyard tree through to the massive specimens standing hard up against a house. Our pruning and lopping covers crown reduction, deadwooding, shaping and general canopy management, and where a tree is too tall or too awkward to climb, our spider lifts and elevated work platforms put us alongside it safely. Palm cleaning takes care of the frond removal and the seed pods, so there is nothing left up there waiting to fall on somebody.

Our stump grinding runs on a Vermeer SC70TX and an S925TX, and between them there is no stump too big for us to deal with. Where the ground has to be properly clear for landscaping, our stump removal takes the full root ball out with it. All the green waste is chipped on site and carted away, and if you would like the mulch kept back for your garden beds, tell us and we will leave it there for you.

Our land and power line clearing covers development sites and power line corridors right across North Queensland, and no job is too remote for us to get to. We look after body corporate properties alongside houses, so a managing agent gets the same crew, the same insurance and the same clean-up that a homeowner does.

When a storm puts a tree on your roof or across the road, our 24/7 emergency callout is there for it, including the three in the morning job after a cyclone has come through. We are working Monday to Saturday from 6am to 6pm with emergencies around the clock, and we cover Townsville and its suburbs, Magnetic Island, Charters Towers, Ayr, Ingham, Mount Isa and Cloncurry.
