Branching Out Tree Care

Hazardous trees and difficult access are our speciality at Branching Out Tree Care, and that is where the 18 metre SpiderLift EWP earns its keep: the tree hemmed in between a patio, a pool and the neighbour's roof. We are a small family owned outfit. Jim and Lauren have over 16 years in the tree service industry, worked across both WA and NSW, an AQF Level 5 Diploma in Arboriculture and membership of the Arboriculture Association of WA (ArbWest).

We take on tree pruning and tree removal for homes and businesses, along with palm maintenance, which covers trimming and taking out the big Cocos palms people tend to inherit with a block. Stump removals handle the grinding and the root removal once a tree is down, and we deliver mulch to homes, schools and local businesses. There is tree care consulting as well, for when what you need is somebody to look at a tree and tell you what is going on with it. Jim has picked up a fungus on a client's tree that the owner knew nothing about, and spotting that sort of thing before it becomes a removal is part of the work.

The fleet is put together around getting into tight suburban blocks. Alongside the SpiderLift there is a 10 tonne tipper and a 15 inch Vermeer chipper with the capacity for large logs, four wheel drive so it does not bog on sandy sites, and a HIAB crane for lifting logs and palms out of places you cannot back a truck into. Smaller vehicles get down narrow driveways and are light enough to leave your turf alone. We run our own stump grinder and skid steer loader, and where a job needs more than that, crane and excavator hire is available. For the tricky trees we still put a climbing arborist up in the canopy.

Storm damage and emergency call outs run 24/7, so a limb down across a driveway at midnight is a phone call rather than a wait until morning. Safety comes first on every job and our accident free record is the proof of it. We are fully insured, with up to $20 million public liability and indemnity cover to $5 million, our OSH protocols are current, and we leave your property neat and tidy when we pack up.

We are based at Mandurah and work across the Peel region, taking in Halls Head, Falcon, Dawesville, Barragup, Pinjarra, Singleton, Serpentine, Dwellingup and Waroona, and north into Baldivis and Rockingham.
