Brisbane Tree Removal

We're Brisbane Tree Removal, started by George Pennisi in 2014. George grew up in a family-run nursery, so trees were part of his life long before this was a business, and he came to arboriculture the way you'd hope, learning the plants first and the saws second. The way he puts it, greenery in a city is only worth having when it's safe, and that idea runs through how we work. We're based in Sherwood in Brisbane's inner west, and we're fully insured for everything we take on.

Tree removal is the job the business is named for, and it runs from a single dead tree in a back corner through to bigger takedowns where there's a house, a fence or power lines to work around. We use a cherry picker to get up into the canopy and section a tree down piece by piece rather than dropping it whole, then bring the chainsaws and stump gear in to finish the job cleanly. When a block needs opening up before a build or just to reclaim a yard, we take on land clearing as well.

Beyond the removals we handle stump grinding to get rid of what's left below the cut, palm tree removal, tree pruning to shape, thin and take the weight off overextended limbs, and hedge trimming to keep a boundary tidy. It's the same crew and the same care whether it's a large removal or a hedge that has got away from you.

We cover the greater Brisbane region, north side and south side, and out to Logan, Ipswich, Redland Bay and the Gold Coast. Regular jobs take us through Ascot, Albany Creek, Paddington, Camp Hill, Wilston, Indooroopilly, Everton Park and Sunnybank, along with the Brisbane CBD.
