About This Business
Many of our customers have used tree loppers in the past with poor results. That sentence is on our own website because it is the single most common story we hear at a first visit: branches cut in the wrong place, bark torn down the trunk, and a burst of weak regrowth that will fail in the next big blow. Brisbane Trees and Gardens works from Archerfield in the city's south, and our arborists have been trained in and tested on correct pruning methods, alongside proper workplace health and safety practice. There is a real difference between someone with a saw and someone who knows where the cut goes.
Every job starts with the tree rather than the price. Our tree assessment and diagnosis works out what is actually going on with a tree, its health, its structure and the setting it is growing in, because the answer to a leaning gum and the answer to a struggling fig are not the same answer. David Taylor and the team would rather tell you a tree can be kept than sell you a removal you did not need.
Where a tree is unwell, our plant health care and disease and pest control is carried out using biological and mechanical methods, with no chemicals used. That is a deliberate position, and it takes more knowledge and more patience than reaching for a spray, but it is the one that leaves the soil, the neighbouring plants and the wildlife in your garden intact.
For the structural and safety work, tree removal is carried out safely on the dangerous, the dead and the invasive weed trees that should never have been planted, and our tree pruning is completed to the Australian Standard rather than by eye. Careful tree lopping is available where a genuine reduction is what a tree needs, and once a trunk is down, stump grinding clears the remainder so the ground is ready to replant or reuse.
Palms get their own treatment through palm removal and palm cleaning, which strips away the dead fronds and seed heads that make a palm a hazard over a driveway or a path. And because a tidy finish is part of the job rather than an extra, every visit ends with a yard cleanup and the green waste taken away, so the tree work is the only evidence we were there.
We work across Archerfield, Acacia Ridge, Calamvale and the surrounding southern suburbs of Brisbane. Give us a call and we will come and look at the tree before anyone talks about cutting it.
