Randal has held his arborist qualifications for more than twenty years and he leads every job himself, so nothing gets lost between the bloke who looked at your tree and the crew that arrives to deal with it. Brown's Professional Tree Service has been family owned and operated since 2004, and we are fully insured.

Connor, Randal's son, works alongside him, and Connor's wife Bronte is part of carrying the business on. We have stayed deliberately small rather than chasing growth. It means fewer jobs in a week, and it means the people who show up at your place are the ones whose name is on the business.

Tree removal covers everything from a small yard tree to a big one growing hard against a house or up into the powerlines, and we bring those down in sections where there is no room to fell them. Where a tree is worth keeping, tree maintenance and tree trimming hold the canopy in shape and get the deadwood out of it before it drops. Palm tree cleaning and removal is a job of its own, and we take the fronds and nuts off before they end up on a roof or in the pool.

Land clearing runs from a small yard project through to block preparation for a larger development, and stump grinding comes as part of our removal work, so you can mow or plant straight over the spot. Everything that comes off the jobs goes through the chipper and we sell it back as mulch in 4 and 8 cubic metre loads, which holds the moisture in, keeps the weeds down and feeds the soil. Stock is limited and moves about through the year, so it is worth ringing to see what we have on the ground. After a blow we come out for storm damage clean-up, assess what has gone, take out the fallen branches and clear the debris.

We are based at Pie Creek and work across Gympie and out to the Cooloola Coast, taking in Traveston, Tin Can Bay, Widgee, Curra and Chatsworth. Most jobs get finished the same day, and we leave a property safer and tidier than we found it.
