Cutting firebreaks and slashing paddocks is as much our work as taking a tree out of a suburban backyard. Brown's Vegetation Management has been doing both around Rockhampton for over 16 years, and we hold the tickets for it: a Level 5 Arborist, a Diploma of Arboriculture, an Advanced Tree Felling Certificate ARB(3) and membership of the Queensland Arboricultural Association. We are fully insured and Q-Build registered, which is what gets us onto school and government sites as readily as onto your front lawn.

On the tree side we handle removal at any size, from one tree in a back garden to a large-scale clearance, and we work urban and rural blocks with the same eye on keeping the disruption down and the clean-up thorough. Our trimming and pruning and ongoing maintenance encourage healthy growth, head off disease and cut the risk of a limb dropping on something you value. Where the trouble is inside the tree, our tree treatments go after the pests, the diseases and the nutritional deficiencies before they turn into damage you cannot undo.

Our arborist reports set out the health and structure of a tree in proper detail, which is what a council will want, what a development decision turns on, and what makes managing a large property something better than guesswork. Once a tree is out, our stump grinding and removal clears what is under the ground so the space is yours to use again.

The heavy end is where our plant earns its keep. Our slashing opens up pathways, fields and lots and brings the fire hazard down with it, our clearing and firebreaks work protects a property before the season gets going, and forestry mulching puts scrub and regrowth through in one pass. The earthmoving covers the site works and the access that the rest of it depends on.

What comes off a job does not go to a tip. We grind the debris down into mulch and sell it, and we cut and sell firewood, so it ends up in gardens and fireplaces around the district. After a storm we clear the damage out of backyards, schools and businesses, and there is no trace of broken branches or fallen timber left behind when we go.
