Before a machine touches native vegetation on a project site, somebody has to get the wildlife out of the way of it first. Bush & Beach Tree Services holds the qualifications and permits to do exactly that, and our fauna spotter catcher work covers spotting, catching and relocating native animals, first aid and transport for the ones that need it, habitat identification, pre and post clearance monitoring, and setting up the exclusion zones that keep a site compliant with Queensland legislation. We relocate native beehives the same way, in a controlled manner, and we take snake calls from both commercial sites and private homes.

That work sits alongside more than twelve years of arboriculture. Our arborist is qualified, the crew is fully trained and insured, and we have taken the fauna side of it to remote projects across Australia, including mining, windfarm and construction sites. On a large clearing job the two halves of the business are the same conversation, because the approval, the fauna management and the machinery all have to line up before anyone starts.

On the trees themselves we take on tree felling, tree lopping and tree removal, including the high risk removals that need proper rigging and a plan for every section that comes down. Climbing, deadwood and detailing work is the finer end of it, along with canopy lifting to get growth up off a roof or a road, and stump grinding and removal once the tree is gone. When a storm has been through, our storm clean-up gets the property usable again.

The broadacre side runs to vegetation management, block and land clearing, roadside clearing, powerline clearing and service line clearing, plus fire break management before the season turns and spraying, weed and regrowth management to stop it all coming back. Everything that comes off a job goes through chipping and green waste removal. For properties that need it handled year round, we set up ongoing maintenance programs, and we look after resort tree care where the grounds are part of what guests are paying for.
