The tree that nobody wants to quote is usually the one nothing can reach. It is behind the shed, over the back fence, up a slope with no gate wide enough for a machine. Hard to access removals are what we specialise in, and it comes down to having qualified tree climbers who are experienced in exactly that sort of work, with a cherry picker on hand for the big ones where an operator needs to get to height with a chainsaw or pole pruner. C & S Tree Services is family owned and operated, and across 15 years we have worked with hundreds of homeowners and businesses in the Shoalhaven.

Our patch is the northern Shoalhaven, from Gerroa down to Sussex Inlet, taking in Nowra, Berry, Callala Bay, Kangaroo Valley and Ulladulla. Residential, commercial and industrial jobs all get the same approach, with safety held high and the cost kept sensible.

A tree is an asset most of the time, giving you shade, privacy and street appeal, and it only becomes a problem when disease sets in or the roots start threatening your foundations. That is when tree removal and cutting is the answer, and we will tell you first whether the tree is a genuine candidate for it. Short of that, tree trimming and pruning deals with the branches heading for a power line or reaching over a neighbour's boundary, and tree lopping brings a canopy back under control. Stump grinding is the surest way to be rid of a stump for good, with no regrowth, no termites or ants moving in, and nothing left in the ground to hold up a build.

Everything that comes down gets fed through the chipper, and the chipping and mulching turns it into decorative mulch that holds moisture and keeps weeds down, which we also sell along with firewood. For a whole site, block clearing takes the trees out, grinds the stumps and roots and woodchips the lot so a builder can start on clear ground. Estimates are free.
