An established Eumundi Quandong, dug out of a block at Kepnock, kept hydrated the whole way across town and staked out in its new home at Kensington. That is the sort of job we take on when a tree is worth saving, and it is not one you attempt without the years behind you. CenQ Tree Solutions brings over 25 years in the tree industry to Bundaberg. Justin, our proprietor and lead arborist, was educated at Ryde TAFE in Sydney, and spent two decades contracting beforehand on major projects for the Shoalhaven and Wingecarribee councils as well as Defence and Government work, including heritage listed trees. Hazardous removals are where that background earns its keep. A dead or unstable tree standing over a house has to come down in an order worked out before anyone leaves the ground, and we have the gear and the experience to do it safely on a tight block. For the trees staying put, our pruning and crown reduction takes end weight off mature limbs, buys clearance from the structure and opens the canopy back up. We have done exactly that on mature Poincianas at Walkervale and Oakwood, in that case to get the sunlight back onto a set of solar panels.

Once a tree is gone we reclaim the ground it was sitting in. Our stump grinding and root removal clears out the trip hazards and prepares the soil for fresh turf or a new garden bed rather than leaving you a patch to mow around for the next ten years. Palm cleaning is on the list as well, stripping off the dead fronds and heavy seed heads that turn a palm into a nuisance over a driveway or a path.

The specialised work is what puts us beyond a standard tree lopper. Our root barrier installation sets a sub surface system into the ground to redirect aggressive root growth away from your driveway, your pipes and your house, which solves the problem and keeps the tree. Our small tree transplanting and preservation relocates smaller established trees during renovations and landscape changes, protecting the root ball, minimising shock and giving the tree a genuine chance in its new position.
