Daymian holds an AQF Level 3 Certificate in Arboriculture along with Working at Heights certification, an Elevated Work Platform ticket, a powerline clearance qualification, chainsaw operation certification, traffic management and first aid. The business carries public liability and workers compensation insurance. Four principles run through the work: never take shortcuts on safety, tell the customer what they need to hear rather than what they want to hear, treat a property as if it were their own, and back it with clear communication and proper equipment.

Tree removal is the core service, from a dead or dangerous tree through to one that has simply outgrown its position, and tree pruning is offered where a tree can be kept, reduced and made safe rather than taken out. Stump grinding clears what is left behind so the ground can be reused, and land clearing opens up blocks for building, access or fire safety. Commercial and strata work is a defined part of the business, which matters for body corporates and property managers who need the paperwork and the process to be right, not just the tree on the ground.

Emergency tree removal runs 24/7 with same-day response for storm damage, fallen trees and dangerous situations. On the Central Coast and in Newcastle the aim is to be on site the same day for genuine emergencies, typically within two to six hours, covering trees fallen on houses or cars, dangerously leaning trees after wind and rain, cracked or splitting trunks, branches in powerlines and trees blocking driveways or roads. After-hours and weekend emergencies are charged at a higher rate to cover crew availability, and there is no separate call-out fee, with the cost of getting to site included in the quote.
