Chandler's Tree Service

Chippers, mulchers, grinders and cranes all live in our own yard, and owning them is the reason a large, complex tree can be safely lowered down in a confined space instead of being written off as too hard. Chandler's Tree Service was established in Tamworth in 1998, we are a local, family owned business, and there are more than twenty years of tree rings behind the name.

Controlled tree felling is what we set the business up to do, and where a tree cannot be put on the ground in one piece, we climb it. Being tree climbing specialists is not a line we use lightly, because it is how the awkward jobs actually get done: over a roof, between two sheds, or on limbs that have to come out one at a time. One customer had their tree down and the entire area cleaned up in three and a half hours, with the shed roof and the driveway swept off and the temporary fence put back up before we drove out. That is the finish we are aiming at every time.

For the trees that are staying, our pruning, tree trimming, crown lifting, thinning and deadwooding keep a mature tree clear of buildings, fences and wires, and a lightning struck tree or one dropping limbs gets seen to before it becomes your neighbour's problem as well as yours. We work for residential, commercial and industrial customers through Tamworth, Gunnedah, Quirindi, Narrabri and Armidale, and in high traffic places such as parks, golf courses and schools where the work has to happen around everybody else.

Once a tree is out, our stump removal and stump grinding level the ground completely, so the area can be replanted or developed without anyone working around a lump in the middle of it. We take on insurance work as well, and our consultancy and reporting covers the jobs that need a written assessment before a saw comes out of the truck.
