About This Business
Some trees have nowhere to go. Hemmed in by the house on one side and the neighbour's fence on the other, there's no drop zone and no margin for error, and that's the work Climb High Tree Services is built around. Confined space tree removal means climbing the tree and taking it apart piece by piece, roped down in sections small enough to land where we want them. Where the pieces are too heavy for that, or the ground too tight to work from, our crane operations lift them straight out over the roofline. Every job is fully insured and carried out to Australian Standards.
We're a family owned and operated company and we've been doing tree work in Canberra for close to ten years, across Queanbeyan and the surrounding regions too, for private clients and public sector ones alike. That takes in deadwood removal, pruning for healthier growth, hedge trimming and ongoing tree maintenance, and where a tree has a structural weakness worth supporting we can fit cable bracing and keep it standing. Quotes are obligation free and cost you nothing, and we're glad to answer whatever you want to ask before you commit to anything.
We also teach this trade. Climb High Training (RTO Code 40989) has been delivering arboriculture and chainsaw training for many years to industry, CED, ACTPCS, ACT ESA, ACT Fire and Rescue, NSW RFS members and the general public. We run the nationally recognised AHC30824 Certificate III in Arboriculture from January through to December each year, with Climbing Arborist and Elevated Work Platform Arborist specialisations, alongside chainsaw statements of attainment in maintaining chainsaws, trimming and cutting felled trees, manual falling at intermediate and advanced level, pole saw work and operating a mobile chipper or mulcher. Non accredited courses can be built around an organisation's own site procedures. Training is delivered on industry standard equipment and real scenarios, which is the same standard we hold ourselves to on a job.
When a storm comes through we're well equipped to take on emergency work at short notice, and we're available 24/7 if the situation calls for it, with the priority being your family and property safe and the risk from storm damage cut back as soon as it's safe for us to get to it. Ahead of the weather, tree inspections, hazardous tree identification and tree hazard and risk assessment catch the trouble early. A few things are worth ringing about the moment you notice them: an uneven crown with broken limbs, roots visibly wrenched out of the ground, gashes or splits in a large branch or trunk, patches of bumpy soil, or a root plate that has lifted. If a tree or its branches have brought down power lines, keep everyone away from the area and call us on 0402 089 736 or 0407 921 667, or email [email protected], and we'll get someone to you.
