Ben Duncanson founded Climb Right Tree Services, and he is still the name and the number on the front of it. Ben is a seasoned arborist working with a crew of certified arborists out of North Shore, and we take on tree work right through Geelong and across the Surf Coast. One customer put it better than we could: efficient, prompt, easy to deal with by phone and by email, and when their tree came out Ben suggested a replacement plant that would blend into the rest of the garden. Suggesting what to put back is not on any service list, and it is the part of the job we would sooner you heard about from a customer than from us.

The tree removal work we take on is the dead, the diseased and the trees that have turned risky where they stand, and it is done with the gear and the planning that keeps everyone well clear of it. Where a tree is worth keeping, tree pruning holds its shape and its strength, and it is the cheapest moment to deal with a hazard, while it is still a limb you can reach. Stump removal and grinding deals with what is left in the ground so the lawn is clean and mowable again. Safety comes first on every site we set foot on, and we hold to strict protocols on all of it, because the patch we are working in is usually someone's back garden.

What comes off the tree gets recycled wherever we can, which is where tree mulching comes in. Chipped down, the same material that would otherwise be carted away keeps your soil healthy, holds the soil temperature even and keeps the weeds at bay, so a removal or a heavy prune can leave your garden beds better off than they were that morning. We use eco friendly gear wherever it will do the job, and we would rather the green waste stayed on your block doing something useful.

Not every old tree needs to come out, and that is what our habitat creation work is for. We assess the trees on your property to find the ones suited to hollow creation, going on species, age and health, then carve out tree hollows and put in bird nest box installations so birds and hollow dwelling wildlife have somewhere to live in the trees that stay. It is done in the standing tree, on trees we have already worked out are worth keeping. If you have a big old tree on the block and you are not sure whether it has to go, ask us about that before you ask anyone to price its removal.
