Coffs Coast Tree Services

The Coffs Coast puts a beach block, a rural paddock and a commercial site within twenty minutes of each other, and we work on all three. Coffs Coast Tree Services was founded in 2017 by Jye Rouillon, who was born in Coffs Harbour and grew up doing this type of work, and it has grown steadily from there. Our team are qualified, experienced Cert III arborists, with younger blokes coming through and learning the trade on the job alongside them.

The everyday work is tree removal, tree pruning, stump grinding and land clearing, for residential properties, rural blocks and commercial sites right through the region. When a tree comes down across a driveway or ends up leaning on a roof, our emergency tree services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to handle any emergency tree situation.

The machine that solves the jobs nobody else wants is our compact remote controlled tracked EWP. It reaches 18 metres high with 10 metres of outreach, and it fits through a gap of one metre, which means we can get up a tree behind a house without taking a fence panel out to do it. The flail mower that runs off our mini excavator does the same thing at ground level, mulching trees up to 100mm in diameter in tight access, which is what an overgrown block or a regrown fence line actually needs.

The rest of the fleet backs that up. We run two Bandit stump grinders and a late model Bandit 15 inch capacity brush chipper, the latest Stihl and Husqvarna saws from the smallest to the largest, and a two tonne late model Bobcat excavator with a rotating hydraulic grab and digging buckets. For the heavy work there is a late model Hino 4x4 tipper truck, a Volvo FM7 rigid truck with a 12 tonne payload, and a six tonne Mecalac 6MCR that takes bucket attachments, a hydraulic rotating grab and the flail mower. Because we own it all, we also offer EWP hire, flail mowing and mulch sales, so the material coming off one job goes back out as mulch on another.
