Founded and led by arborist Mathieu Vaupres, Colac Trees works across Colac, the Surf Coast and the Otways with more than 15 years of experience behind it. Mathieu's background is unusually broad: an Advanced Diploma in Forestry, a Certificate III in Arboriculture and IRATA rope-access qualifications, and every member of the team holds at least a Certificate III in arboriculture. The business is fully insured for public liability, and it is confident enough on price to invite customers to find a better like-for-like quote.

Tree removal is handled from the ground or from the rope, and the crew's rope-access training makes short work of tall or awkward trees that no machine can reach. Palm tree removal and maintenance is a specialty in its own right, dealing with the fronds, seed heads and dead palms that need careful height work.
