Complete Tree Management

Isaac Regional Council and Mackay Regional Council have had us on their books since 2012, and the BHP Mitsubishi Alliance since 2008. Complete Tree Management has been working locally for more than twenty years and is the largest locally owned tree management company in the Mackay district. Mackay Sugar, Q Coal, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal, Road Tek, Building and Asset Services and Central Queensland University sit on the same client list, alongside plenty of houses with one tree that has turned into a problem.

Our climbers are certified in advanced climbing and our fellers are certified from level 2 through to level 3 open class. Nobody on a crew has under five years in the field, supervisors bring at least ten years of felling and lopping, and a qualified first aid officer is on the ground. We work to the Workplace Health and Safety Act, induct every person before they set foot on a site, and hold a zero tolerance policy on drugs and alcohol. Public liability, product liability and sector specific cover are all carried and current.

On the tools that means tree surgery and pruning where a tree is worth keeping and wants shaping, thinning or its deadwood taken out, and tree removal and felling where it has stopped being safe or has outgrown the space it is in. Afterwards the stump grinding gets the remainder out of the ground so you are not left mowing around it. Everything we cut goes through the wood chipping gear on site, and our mulch delivery puts it back onto gardens around the district rather than into a tip.

Trees do not fall over at convenient times, so the 24 hour emergency line runs alongside the Monday to Friday work. A limb through a roof, a trunk across a driveway or a canopy sitting on the powerlines after a storm gets a crew out to make it safe, whatever hour it happens. We are available around the clock for that work, and the same people who handle the council contracts are the ones who turn up to it.
