CTL Services (Complete Tree Lopping)

CTL Services, or Complete Tree Lopping if you want the long version, is a mobile tree business covering Adelaide and the surrounding areas. There is no shopfront to visit: we come to you, and we have been doing it since 1988. We are fully licensed tree removalists and fully insured with $20 million public liability, and the phone is answered Monday to Sunday, around the clock. If a tree has come down across the driveway at midnight, or a limb has split and is sitting over the roof, we are available 24/7 for emergency call outs.

Dangerous tree removal is what we are set up for. A tree that is dead, leaning, split or growing too close to the house has to come down in a controlled way, and we bring the gear and the people to do that without damaging what is underneath it. Tree felling and tree cutting sit in the same part of the business, and where a tree is dangerously close to a road or the power lines, we will hire in a mobile crane or a cherry picker so it can be done safely.

Not every tree can simply be taken out. Trees that are regulated, significant or protected need an assessment and usually council approval first, and we will tell you where yours stands before you commit to anything.

Where a tree can stay, tree pruning and tree lopping will usually get it back under control. We do crown lifting to get the canopy up off a roof or a driveway, dead wooding to take the dead timber out before it drops, hedge trimming, and tree support systems where bracing will keep a good tree standing. We will even transplant a tree if it is in the wrong spot and you want to keep it.

Once a tree is down, stump removal and stump grinding clear what is left. We wood chip and mulch the branches on site, which keeps the mess down and gives you something usable for the garden, and palm tree removal is its own trick, which we handle too.
