An elm that has gone brown and ragged by January is not dying of the heat, and around here that is usually a phone call to us. We work Wodonga and Albury and out across north east Victoria. Our arborists are qualified in arboriculture, the business is WorkCover compliant, and we carry public liability cover up to twenty million dollars and indemnity up to five million. Aaron Piergrosse is our environmental management representative, and the way we run a site follows AS/NZS ISO 14001:2016, which in practice means the flora, fauna, sensitive ground and heritage sites around a job are considered before a saw starts, not explained away afterwards.

What lets us finish a job in one visit is having the whole chain of gear on the truck at once. An eighteen metre cherry picker gets a climber to height without a rope ascent on trees where that is the sensible option. Twenty inch and eighteen inch woodchippers between them swallow anything from hedge trimmings to serious limb wood. Articulated loaders shift what the chipper does not, and the tip trucks run thirty cubic metre bins, so a full day of debris leaves the property on the day it was cut instead of sitting in a heap waiting on a second trip. Stump grinders finish the ground off.

Around that the work is what you would expect from a crew this size. Tree removal and hazardous tree removal cover the trees that have to come out, including the fire affected ones, and tree pruning and trimming keeps the rest in order. We treat hedge pruning as its own discipline, stump grinding takes the leftovers out below ground, and the wood chipping feeds our mulch sales, so what comes off one property goes onto somebody else's garden. We also take on insurance work and deal with the assessor side of a storm claim.
