The team are qualified arborists, Workcover compliant and fully insured, carrying public liability cover of up to $20 million, which reflects the scale of work they are set up to take on.

Part of what lets them handle bigger jobs is the gear: an 18-metre cherry picker for height work, 18 and 20 inch woodchippers, stump grinders, articulated loaders and tip trucks with 30 cubic metre bins for clearing debris. That kit means a job of almost any size can be dealt with in one visit, from a single street tree to a large-scale clearance.

Services cover tree removal, tree pruning and trimming, hazardous tree removal, hedge pruning and stump grinding, along with wood chipping and mulch sales. The team also carries out insurance work and elm leaf beetle treatment, and all of it is done with an eye on working in an environmentally responsible way.

When a storm or fire leaves a tree dangerous, Curtis Tree Lopping Specialists offers emergency call-outs and handles hazardous, fire-affected tree removals, with the team available whenever a tree emergency comes up. Based in Wodonga, the business works across north-east Victoria and over the border into Albury, New South Wales. The team is on the tools Monday to Saturday from 7am to 6pm, with emergency call-outs handled outside those hours.
