Cut It Right Tree Service is an owner-operated tree business on the Mornington Peninsula, run by Quinton Garlick, a qualified and fully insured arborist who has been at it since 2006. Behind him is a team of experienced arborists, and the approach is a personal one: look after the client, the tree and the property, and leave the garden clean and undamaged. As the tagline puts it, no job is too big or too small.

Tree removal is the backbone of the business, from a single dangerous tree to a full block clearing. The team also handles fence line clearance where growth is pushing on a boundary, and powerline tree clearance for branches getting too close to the wires.

On the maintenance side there is tree pruning, weight reduction and tip pruning, deadwood removal, crown lifting and drip line reduction, all aimed at keeping a tree safe and in good shape. A hedging service keeps formal hedges and screens tidy.

Quinton's arborist background shows in the consulting work: pest and disease inspection, consultant reports and risk assessments for trees whose health or safety is in question, plus tree bracing and safety cabling to hold weak limbs together, tree transplanting and new planting. Firewood is sold on the side, and for fallen or hazardous trees the business runs a 24/7 emergency service.
