Cutting Edge Tree Care

Some of our work is on the water. We are confident working waterfronts, and we can arrange barge hire to get a crew and the gear onto a block that cannot be reached from the road at all. Cutting Edge Tree Care has been servicing the Sutherland Shire since 2001 from our base at Kirrawee, Australian owned and operated, with five full time employees who hold the industry training this work requires.

All of our work is performed to Australian Standard AS 4373 (2007), Pruning of Amenity Trees, and in accordance with the WorkCover Code of Practice for the Amenity Tree Industry. Our plant and machinery is fully insured and regularly maintained, and we meet every insurance requirement you would want to see before anybody puts a saw in your garden. That is not paperwork for its own sake. It is what lets us work close to a house without you having to worry about it.

Tree removals get done with EWP and crane work where a tree cannot be safely climbed or dropped, and we take on power line clearing where growth has got in among the wires. For the trees staying where they are, we handle tree trimming, pruning and shaping, tree lopping and dead wooding, along with ongoing tree maintenance and management for owners who would rather book a regular visit than wait for a limb to come down.

Roots cause as much trouble as canopies do. We carry out root pruning and install root barriers to stop a tree lifting paths, pipes and slabs, and stump grinding takes out whatever is left in the ground after a removal. We also run a free mulch service, so the chip that comes off your job can go straight back onto your garden beds if you want it.

We cover the Sutherland Shire and the neighbouring St George suburbs. We sweep up and leave the yard tidy before we go, front and back, and we take the same care with the driveway and the cars parked on it.
