Cutting Edge Tree Surgery

The spider lift is what puts our climber up into a tall, dense canopy without anyone having to free-climb the tree, and on a tight suburban block that is the difference between a clean job and a messy one. Cutting Edge Tree Surgery is based at Ningi and works across the Moreton Bay region, family owned and fully insured, run by Jamie Pinfold, a long-term Ningi local who started the business in 2022 with more than 20 years in the area behind him. Jamie is on site for every job, so the person who quoted the work is the person doing it.

Between the spider lift, the excavator, the loader and the chipper, we can take on removals that are awkward to get near. We have taken two tall trees out of a townhouse courtyard with every piece carried back through the internal property, and dropped a dead tree standing hard against a house and overhead power lines by rigging it and lowering it section by section. That is tree removal and pruning as we do it: the tree sectioned down in a planned order, and precision pruning for the trees you are keeping.

Palm tree removal and frond cleaning includes a full site clean-up and responsible green waste disposal, the same as every other job we take. Once a tree is down, stump grinding takes the stump out below ground level and the mulch and debris leave with us. On a bigger scale, large block clearing covers acreage, rural blocks and development sites, trees, scrub and green waste included. One overgrown backyard we cleared was thick with dead branches and undergrowth and had a shed and fence lines to work around, and the whole lot was chipped and hauled offsite the same day.

We work for homeowners, commercial properties, strata committees and property managers, and doing the job right means more to us than just cutting the tree down. It means assessing the work properly, planning the safety of it, treating your property with respect and not leaving until the site is clean and hazard free.
