Dynamic Tree Works

Dynamic Tree Works is a family run business established in 2018 and based in Pambula on the far south coast of New South Wales. It is run by qualified arborist Christjan Peters, who has been in the industry more than fifteen years, and the operation is fully insured. The site does not go in for much salesmanship. Its line is simply: problem tree, no problem.

Climbing is the core skill here, and it shows in what the business takes on. Confined space removal is listed as a service in its own right, which is the work of getting a tree out of a spot no truck or elevated platform can reach, piece by piece, roped down between a house and a fence. Dangerous trees are the other specialty, meaning trees that have split, leaned, hollowed out or died where they stand and cannot simply be felled in one go.

The rest of the list is the standard run of work. Tree removal where a tree has to come out, pruning and trimming where it can be kept, general tree care and maintenance, and site clearing for owners preparing a block. Palms get their own mention, which anyone on the coast with a self-cleaning palm dropping fronds will understand.

The unusual entry is habitat work. Dynamic Tree Works installs habitat boxes and cuts natural carved hollows, which means shaping a hollow into a retained trunk or limb so that possums, parrots and gliders get somewhere to nest. Natural hollows take a century or more to form and are the first thing lost when an old tree comes down, so carving them back into a stag is a genuine option for owners who would rather keep something standing than clear it flat.
