Eco Tree Services started as a ute, a trailer and one arborist, Alex Carter, and over more than ten years it has grown into the family-owned crew working out of Everton Hills, in Brisbane's north, today. Alex, the arborist whose name is on the business, holds a Certificate III in Horticulture (Arboriculture), and around him the team now runs to five Level III climbing arborists with close to seventy years in the trade between them, two apprentices coming through, and hands like Lachlan, who has been climbing since the early ute-and-trailer days, and Mick, who brings eighteen years and his own Certificate II in Arboriculture. Everyone carries their white card, first aid, and chainsaw and chipper tickets, we put real weight on training and doing the job safely, and we hold WorkCover and public liability cover, so the crew turning up at your place knows the work and is covered to do it.

When a tree has to go, we take on the removal at any size and grind the stump out afterwards, so you're not left with something to mow around. For the trees worth keeping, we handle the pruning and maintenance that keeps them healthy and clear of the house, from a routine trim to thinning out a heavy canopy before storm season, and we clean up and remove palms as well. While we're on site we can shape the hedges too and tidy the whole yard, not only the one tree that brought us out.

When the weather turns we run emergency and storm clean-up, getting out to trees that have come down on a house, a driveway or a fence, taking off the limbs that have gone dangerous, propping up what can still be saved, and clearing the rest so the place is safe to be around again. If something urgent comes up, you can call us any time. Alongside the household jobs we look after body corporate and strata properties and do the tree work for real estate agents and property managers across their rentals and listings.
