Tom has been working with trees since 2017, and EcoArbor Tree Care grew out of that. He started by building his skill set in technical climbing, then studied Arboriculture and Environmental Arboriculture on top of a background in marketing. Living in a lot of different spots along the NSW east coast gave him a wide knowledge of tree species, their health and the way they grow, and that is the head we bring into your yard before anyone touches a saw. Our arborists are certified and the business is fully insured, with public liability and workers compensation cover we can produce on request.

When a tree has to come out, we take it out: dead, storm damaged, lifting a driveway or simply planted somewhere it was never going to fit. Technical climbing is where Tom cut his teeth, so a tree wedged behind a pool or hard against a boundary fence is the sort of job we are set up for rather than the one we talk you out of. Tree pruning is the gentler end of the same skill, lifting a canopy off a roofline, clearing a driveway, or bringing a tree back into shape without wrecking its structure. Once the trunk is gone the stump is still in your way, and our stump grinding takes it below the surface so you can turf or plant straight over it, which matters on the paths and lawns around here that kids are forever running across. For a block that needs opening up before building, fencing or landscaping starts, we handle land clearing too.
